Background: RNA 5-methylcytosine (m5C) methyltransferases NSUN1 is a member of the NOP2/SUN (NSUN) methyltransferase family. Studies have found that expression elevated in breast and colon cancer can predict poor prognosis. However, gene has only been studied few tumors.
